Abo El Nomros Bridge

The construction of an upper bridge is underway on top of the Abu El Nomros skids in the Giza Governorate. The bridge is attached to the upgrade of all internal surface roads and the main road (Cairo-Aswan Agricultural Road).
A car bridge with a total length of 1.530 km and a width of 9 m, 2 traffic lanes, consisting of
- East of the railway, there are two landings and one flight on the Cairo-Aswan agricultural road.
- West of the railway, there are two landings and two flights on the side of the village of Abu Al Nomros.
- The project involves the construction of a pedestrian bridge at the top of the railway, which will serve as a crossing for people after the implementation is complete and the crossing is closed (design is currently underway).
- The structural system monopiles, in addition to some parts, which are precast beams over the railways and box-section buckets above the canal and the road.
- The construction of new asphalt roads will enhance the efficiency of the surrounding roads, catering to traffic in line with the new bridge planning status
- The bridge is designed with structural systems consisting of:
- Slabs on piles
- Precast beams
- Walls on piles and gravity walls
