Sofitel Nile El-Gezira Hotel

Client: Sofitel El-Gezira Scope: Structural Design Review | Design of Strengthening works | Technical Assistance Location: Giza, Egypt

A 27-story skyscraper with a height of 100 m had been built by the year 1984. Noticeably, the building is supported via V-shaped beams surrounding the base of the building. By the year 2005, the hotel had been renovated, in addition to the rise of new buildings surrounding the hotel, with some parts being altered or demolished.
