Tunnels 01-A and 02-A are two tunnels that cross Mohamed bin Zayed North Road in the new administrative capital, each with a length of 230 m. Each tunnel consists of 4 spans; mid-spans are 17 m long, and outer spans are 9.5 m. The structural system is a flat slab with a thickness of 1.10 m with a 1.60 m drop panel for inner spans and 0.5 m with 1.35 m for outer spans. Slabs rest on columns (1 m x 1 m) every 5 m; the columns rest on 1.2 m pile caps. In addition, the pile cap were supported with 1 m piles every 2.5 m.
Tunnel 02-A is a tunnel crossing Mohamed bin Zayed North Road, the new administrative capital, with a length of 230 m. The tunnel consists of 4 spans; midspans are 22 m and 25 m long, and outer spans are 9.5 m. The structural system is a flat slab with a thickness of 1.30 m with a 2.0 m drop panel for inner spans and 0.5 m with 1.55 m for outer spans. Slabs rested on columns (1 m x 1.5 m) every 5 m; the columns rested on 1.2 m and 1.5 m pile caps. In addition, the pile cap were supported with 1 m piles every 2.5 m.
